Riley Higgins with his 66cm barramundi
Four year old Riley Higgins won the Catch of the Day prize of four Bandit lures and joined the Barra Club this week.
On his first ever fishing trip he landed five Barra and a catfish when the family went to Corroboree Billabong with Alan Beale from Darwins Barra Base as their guide.
His mum, Kathy, said "All he ever talks about is catching a big barra like his Dad. He was very lucky and with a lot of groaning he managed to land this 66cm barra, with just a little help from Alan Beale holding the rod during the catch."
"Mines bigger than yours, Dad" was the first thing he said when the fish was landed. His dad, Craig, goes fishing here every year.
Now with his photo in the NT News and his new lures, Riley will have plenty to talk about with Dad.
