Mary River Safari

Hi Allan & Heather & Jason
Just thought i would drop you a quick line thanking you and Heather for your hospitality during our recent 5 Day fishing Safari with your company ( Darwins Barra Base ) to the Mary River in March 2010.

We had a fantastic time catching and releasing some 90 - 100 Barramundi & 30 - 40 Threadfin Salmon for the 5 Days

We would also like to thank our Skipper for the Safari Jason Bettles who was professional in the way he conducted himself, always enthusiastic and trying his best to put us on the fish, which he did day after day, we also had the pleasure of meeting the other two Skippers Nat & Hugh who seem great guys, not only did we have a great skipper but fantastic fishing boats and gear to use, they would certainly be the best boats in the local Barra Fleet.

I will glady be recommending your company to all my fishing friends, if anyone is wanting to catch a Barra in the Top End they need look no further than Darwins Barra Base, i would also recommend you do yourself a favor and book for the 5 Days so you experience Top End Barra fishing at its best.
