Barramundi

With Wild weather in Victoria preventing fishing there, Jarrod packed his rod and headed for the blue waters of the Northern Territory.

Classic dry season weather of 30C day after day and light breezes on the clear water make this an ideal time for chasing fighting barramundi, massive jewfish and plenty of other great sport fish.

Jarrod is no stranger to fishing in the Territory. His previous encounter with giant barramundi was in very different circumstances just after the flooding wet season rains.

Of course Jarrod was not the only one landing great fish, there is always plenty to go round in the protected waters on the NT where commercial fishing has given way to providing for sport fishers.
