Well the Barra & Bluewater Fishing Safaris have been awesome out at Dundee. With good Barra keepers being landed in the Little & Big Finniss Rivers and some fantastic Pelagic & Jewfish fishing down at Peron Islands. All Groups booking again for later in the year or coming back next year for more action.
A 5 Day Barra & Bluewater Safari on Mothership at the Mouth of the Daly River, 50+ Great Barramundis were landed over 2 days including Metrey’s with the largest going 115cm 35Lb Beauty at the hands of Client Michael Stephenson from Newcastle, and many high 90’s to 65cm range were landed along the Coastal Creeks.

Personal Bests were all broken and new limits set for all clients on Barra, Jewfish, Snapper and Queenfish. Spanish Mackerel GTs, and Mack Tuna busting up bait balls on the surface everywhere when the wind slowed. Clients were having a ball with Twin and Triple hook ups on 8 and 10Kg GT’s and Spanish Macks. With Neap Tides ending and Spring Tides coming upon us next week, we will be focusing on areas such as Dundee & Finniss Rivers when tides allow, then Corroboree Billabong, Hardies Lagoon, Leaders Creek for Day Trips.

We provide a fantastic one day Darwin fishing trip in the Northern Territory. Your guide will collect you from your Darwin accommodation at 5am., or stay at our B & B Lodge and leave directly from here to gain an early start. You will then enjoy a comfortable 11/2 hour drive in our modern 4x4 air-conditioned Toyota to our fishing location and be on the river or billabong to fish with the sunrise. |

Our main target is the Northern Territory Barramundi and the rivers and billabongs are also home to Saratoga, Tarpon and Fork Tailed Catfish. You will also see plenty of Saltwater Crocodiles, Buffaloes, feral pigs and Sea Eagles, Jabiru's, Brolga's and many other birds of prey on this one day tour. |
This one day Darwin fishing trip is perfect for groups, individuals, experienced fishermen, novices and especially the whole family including non-angling partners.
