Big barramundi caught in the Northern Territory in 2007 in the Mary River, Shady Camp and tidal creeks and coastal waters of the Top End.
Anyone who can't catch a decent barra doesn't know where to look!
These photos were all taken during the 2007 barramundi fishing season and we wait to see what 2008 will bring to Top End Fishers. If you have a good photo, add it to the 2008 competition and you could win a days fishing with Darwin's Barra Base and one of the top fishing guides in the Territory.
| Maybe the best Barra caught anywhere in 2007. At 140 cm, it takes the 2007 prize unless someone can produce better! | ![]() |
| Another beauty - at 129cm we thought for a while this might top the 2007 scales. | ![]() |
| Mel Morris with a barramundi from Corroborree Billabong and a grin to match! This may have been the best "ladies choice" for the year, although the fish Chelle Torossi landed may have just been longer. ( we only measure to the nearest cm ) | ![]() |
| Sparky landed a geat fighter, coming in at 108cm. | ![]() |
| Jim wasn't far behind with this 104cm barra trophy. | ![]() |
| Mark landed a similar fish, also 104cm | ![]() |
