5 Day Barra To Sailfish/Pelagic Bluewater Fishing Safari
28th of May 2011
Allan made Our trip to Darwin both enjoyable and successful. Every species of fish we wanted to catch was caught and Allan knew exactly where to get them and at what tide. We have been on many charters prior, but have never been so happy with our trip. This was definitely a trip of a Lifetime. Thank you Darwin's Barra Base and Thank you Allan.

Sailfish Bonanza in Darwin Waters
In these Barramundi and Bluewater Safaris we fish the saltwater tidal streams of the Finnis River catching the tremendous fighting, lure spitting, tail wagging Saltwater Barra.
Plus spend a couple of days targeting a large variety of hard fighting bluewater reef fish which include the famous Jewfish, Snapper, Coral Trout, Red Emperor and the pelagic fish species such as Tuna, Mackerel, Queenfish and the Giant Trevally. Here we fish the great coastlines of Dundee Beach and Bynoe Harbour, their external Islands and Reefs, and the famous Peron Islands.

97cm 28Lb Barra
We had an excellent trip.
Guides Daniel and TJ provided a great fishing experience in the Finniss River. Very good catch of Barra with a top length of 97cm 28Lb Barra. Boats, motors and equipment were of high quality and to our expectations.
Thanks,
Mike, Beris, John, Lawry, Grant, Digger, Jono & Mike. - 2 Boats, 8 Person Group.
