107cm Barra - Great start to 2013

Chris Town (father) & his son Jack Town from Helen Springs Cattle Station central NT landed two beaut Meteries with Darwins Barra Base on 24th Jan 2013.

Jack (8) hooked and with the help of dad landed 110cm Barra and Dad not to be out done landed another lovely 107cm Barra at the mouth of Adelaide River with Darwins Barra Base Senior Guide Rob Foster.

GREAT NEWS - Our Fantastic Fishing will improve at least 5 fold with the proposed Closure Lines to Commercial Netters being banned from netting along the frontage of Shady Camp throughout Chambers Bay and Finke Bay. Imagine the number of Metre Plus Barra, King Salmon and Black Jewfish without Netters. We landed 32 metre Plus Barra in 2012 this should triple in 2013.

Our Safari Experiences have you fishing the pristine run off waters of the Mary River System that flows into Chambers Bay & the coastal creeks of Finke Bay The flora and fauna at this time of year is breathtaking, and the birdlife is phenomenal. You will experience crocodiles in their own habitat, pigs roaming wild and water buffaloes converging on the edges of the floodplains.
